Job summary

Avid Bioservices in California seeks a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Scheduling to own the site’s master production schedule and translate demand into executable, constraint-based schedules across all suites and manufacturing trains.

You will lead a scheduling team, optimize throughput, coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, MSAT/Process Development, and Facilities, and drive adherence, asset utilization, and on-time delivery while maintaining cGMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, supply chain, operations/production management, or related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing operations, master scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligning demand with a feasible production plan.
• Establish and manage rough-cut capacity plan (RCCP) balancing demand against finite constraints and utilities.
• Lead campaign and batch sequencing to maximize throughput and minimize idle capacity.
• Maintain a rolling long-range schedule (12-24+ months) and support capacity commitments and executive decisions.
• Own handoff from planning to execution, aligning MPS, MRP, and shop-floor execution.
