Job summary

Avid Bioservices in California is seeking a Sr. Supervisor, Manufacturing Formulation to supervise manufacturing staff and operations, ensuring cGMP compliance on the floor. The role combines hands-on work with leadership responsibilities, including document control and deviation management.

You will coordinate production activities, oversee equipment, support cell culture and bioreactor operations, and drive continuous improvement through SOPs and CAPAs. On-site full-time role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Biotech/Chemical Eng with 3–5 years cGMP formulation experience.
• 1–3 years leadership experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, plan and coordinate production activities.
• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment on the floor.
• Support cell culture and bioreactor operations from thaw through TFF.
• cGMP documentation.
• Revise initiate and review Batch Production Records (BPRs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms and Batch History Records (BHRs).
• Identify deviations and manage CAPAs to ensure compliance.
