Job summary

L2x Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead manufacturing and capital improvement projects from concept through closure. You will develop detailed plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments while coordinating with production and operations teams to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime.

You'll manage equipment installations, line expansions, and facility upgrades, create and maintain engineering documentation and SOPs, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven experience leading engineering, process improvement, or capital equipment projects.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and tooling systems.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project performance and report progress, risks, budgets, and outcomes.
• Support automation and process optimization to improve plant performance.
• Participate in root cause investigations and develop corrective actions.

• Create, maintain, and update engineering documentation, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Partner with Quality and Operations teams to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate activities with vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers to meet project milestones and performance expectations.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates on progress, risks, budgets, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Support automation, manufacturing technology, and process optimization initiatives to improve plant performance.
• Participate in root cause investigations and develop sustainable corrective actions for manufacturing challenges.
