Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Typical work hours 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with travel 0‑10%.
• Proven ability to identify safety issues with production personnel; develop facility layouts; justify and procure capital equipment; coordinate preventive maintenance; ensure regulatory compliance; drive efficiency and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Work with production personnel to identify and correct all safety issues.
• Develop and maintain facility layouts using AutoCAD.
• Justify and procure capital equipment and tooling.
• Coordinate facility and equipment preventive maintenance programs.
• Understand government regulations as they apply to the business and assure compliance.
• Develop capacity and contingency plans for Excellerate; drive efficiency, safety, delivery and quality improvements using 80/20 and MRD.
• Develop and maintain KPIs from our maintenance software.
