Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Cost Accounting Manager based in Suffolk County, New York.

Location: Suffolk County, New York

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $75,000-$100,000

Position Overview

The Cost Accounting Manager will oversee cost accounting and inventory management functions within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate product costing, supports financial reporting, and collaborates closely with operations to drive efficiency and cost control. The position requires strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to managing financial data and processes.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Experience with standard costing in a multi-site manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments
• Proven ability to implement process improvements and cost optimization strategies

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Master’s degree in Business or Accounting preferred
• Continuing education in cost management or manufacturing finance beneficial
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA) considered a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
