Job summary

Mann Lake Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting function in Hackensack, MN. You will modernize processes, improve cost visibility, and manage working capital during the spring selling season, partnering with the CFO on strategic reporting.

The role requires 10+ years in accounting with 4+ years in leadership, manufacturing/distribution experience, and strong GAAP expertise. You will oversee NetSuite and ADP payroll integrations, and build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 10+ years accounting experience; 4+ years in a controller/leadership role.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience with standard costing and multi-location inventory.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, month-end close, and financial statement prep.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close; target a close within 7 business days.
• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll via ADP, and fixed assets; ensure GAAP compliance.
