Job summary

Ledgent in Englewood, CO seeks a seasoned Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury management, compliance, and FP&A in an asset-intensive environment.

Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, strong manufacturing/ Construction exposure, and a hands-on leadership style. Base salary is $130,000–$160,000 with a 20% annual bonus and a hybrid schedule after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Previous Controller/Assistant Controller or Finance Manager experience.
• Proven experience managing and developing employees.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and partner with leaders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Provide leadership with financial insights, trends, forecasts and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial reporting requirements.
• Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and performance reporting.
• Oversee tax compliance activities and audits.
