Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Controller to partner with operations and leadership across multiple manufacturing sites in Elkhart, IN. This on-site role blends traditional accounting with forecasting, analysis, and data-driven decision support.

The ideal candidate will lead monthly close, develop forecasts, and provide actionable insights to drive profitability and efficiency. A CPA/CMA or MBA and manufacturing FP&A experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting plant operations and leaders.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close.
• Hands-on variance, cost, and profitability analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills for modeling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Analyze financial statements for multiple locations.
• Develop and present forecasts to leadership.
• Partner with operations, sales, and plant leadership to improve performance.
• Conduct cost and profitability analyses to identify drivers.
• Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze inventory, costing, and manufacturing metrics to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to capital investment evaluations and projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements.
• Drive process improvements and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with non-financial stakeholders to explain financial concepts.
