Job summary

Grass America Inc. is seeking an experienced finance leader to direct all accounting operations in a manufacturing environment. The role will oversee general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and inventory accounting, while driving close processes and internal controls.

You will partner with operations and supply chain to ensure accurate costing, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. Strong leadership and ERP proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting and cost accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with Accounting Principles.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive leadership.
