Job summary

Port Erie Plastics, a long-established plastics manufacturer in Harborcreek, PA, seeks a dynamic Controller to lead the finance function and partner with executive leadership. This senior role requires guiding accounting operations, controls, budgeting, and financial reporting with a focus on margin management.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in finance leadership, deep US GAAP expertise, and experience in inventory-driven manufacturing, preferably plastics, with strong Excel and ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP.
• 10+ years in accounting/finance leadership.
• Inventory-driven manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with cost accounting and ERP environments.
• IQMS ERP experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead all core accounting and finance operations.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and manage external audits.
• Oversee cost accounting, standard costing, BOM integrity, and variance analysis.
• Develop and enforce internal controls and accounting policies.
• Coordinate annual budget process and long-range planning.
• Manage ERP (IQMS) and drive system optimization.
• Deliver timely, accurate financial reports to leadership.
• Lead a team of five accounting and IT professionals.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, banking relations, and treasury.
