Job summary

HQ USAF and Support Elements seeks a management analyst to serve as the technical advisor for SAF/FMEW manpower. The role involves planning, integrating, presenting, and advocating SAF daily operational support and centrally managed programs.

The incumbent will evaluate DoD and Air Force management engineering principles and apply PPBE concepts to develop budgets and manpower policy. Strong communication skills are essential for staff guidance and formal presentations.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of quantitative and qualitative techniques to apply DoD, Joint, and Air Force management engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of the DoD Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process and AF policy, procedures and schedules for POM.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical advisor for SAF/FMEW's Manpower and provide guidance to staff analysts.
• Plan, integrate, present, and advocate SAF daily operational support and centrally managed programs.
• Apply laws, regulations, policies and precedents affecting program resources and staff studies.
