Job summary

This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to automate processes using a GRC system, while guiding teams to protect assets and support strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or related field.
• 4+ years' vendor management, business continuity, or insurance in financial services.
• 2+ years management or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of regulations, risk management frameworks, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor management program with due diligence and performance monitoring.
• Lead business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and operational resilience efforts.
• Coordinate reviews, testing, and updates to continuity plans with business units.
• Manage the credit union's insurance portfolio and work with brokers to secure coverage.
• Ensure compliance with NCUA/IDFI and regulatory guidance across vendor management, continuity, and insurance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align vendor, continuity, and insurance goals with org objectives.
• Prepare reports for senior leadership on risk, performance, and improvement opportunities.
• Drive process improvements and automation via technology and the GRC system.
