Zusammenfassung

National Transportation Safety Board seeks a Manager to shape how members plan, fund, and sustain intercity passenger rail equipment. You will implement capital-cost methodologies, guide CIP processes, and coordinate with Amtrak, FRA, and state agencies on rolling stock procurements.

This role offers cross-agency engagement and visibility in transportation policy decisions. You will work with senior staff across Amtrak, FRA, and states, gaining exposure to policy, finance, and capital planning

Qualifikationen

• Five+ years in transportation, consulting, public admin, or related field.
• High quality written, verbal, and visual communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience in quantitative analysis and reporting.
• Experience managing projects and consultants.
• Ability to build relationships with staff at all levels of external stakeholders.
• Experience developing strategic plans or performance monitoring reports.
• Ability to create effective presentations and visual materials.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Transportation, Urban Planning, Economics, Civil Engineering, Public Administration, Finance, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field.

Aufgaben

• Oversee CIP development, capital-cost forecast development, and related projects.
• Lead collaboration among Members on rolling stock procurement and investments.
• Coordinate Equipment Working Group activities with State, Amtrak, and FRA.
• Develop data streams, workflows, and analyses for financial and fleet data.
• Manage project schedules to ensure timely SAIPRC deliverables.
• Develop capital-cost policy proposals and build consensus among Members.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to high-level staff at Amtrak, FRA, and States.
• Produce reports and reference materials for internal/external audiences.
