Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Railroad Public Projects Manager to lead a mid-level management role within the Railroad Division. You will collaborate with Project Managers to oversee railroad public projects, balancing schedules, budgets, and stakeholders across multiple states.

The position offers growth opportunities, with a focus on implementing new processes, maintaining databases, and ensuring regulatory compliance while traveling to site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, and aptitude with MS Office, PDF, and other productivity software.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• BS in Civil Engineering is preferred, any engineering degree is required.
• Leadership skills and ability to take ownership of assigned projects.
• Geographic location in the Midwestern States. Remote / Work-From-Home option or hybrid if near an office.

Responsibilities

• Provide railroad project management services and work with local and state government agency sponsors.
• Review and handle initial project requests from various stakeholders.
• Monitor project budget, scope, and schedule estimates.
• Coordinate work with sub-consultants and ensure quality control.
