Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Major Spares & Mechanical Planner to improve plant reliability and efficiency. You will develop and maintain an equipment/asset database for Major Spares, plan capital spare and mechanical work orders, and coordinate with engineering, safety, and vendors.

Responsibilities include documenting repair status, managing spend forecasts, and supporting reliability walk-throughs. Requires 4+ years in industrial planning and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, Edge), Oracle EAM, Viziya Scheduler.
• High School Graduate; additional formal education desired.
• Minimum 4 years in industrial planning and scheduling.
• Strong planning, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an equipment/asset database to manage Major Spares.
• Plan Capital Spare and Mechanical work orders for routine work and outages.
• Attend Planner Meetings to stay updated on onsite planning efforts.
• Document repair status updates and vendor details; manage spend forecasting.
