Job summary

The University of Hartford is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to lead donor cultivation and solicitation for gifts at the major gift level ($25K+) and the annual fund. You will work with Deans, Center Program Directors, board members, faculty, and Advancement staff to develop and execute comprehensive fundraising programs aligned with funding priorities.

Responsibilities include managing a 150-200+ donor portfolio, coordinating with Alumni Engagement, and supporting planned giving and stewardship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a donor portfolio of 150-200+ alumni, parents and friends.
• Solicit major and annual gifts, submitting timely contact reports and supporting move management efforts.
• Coordinate with Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving to grow program participation and campus engagement.
• Plan and execute campus visits and events to engage key prospects and volunteers.
