Metropolitan Inter-Faith Assoc. seeks a Major Gifts Officer to develop and execute strategies that generate new gifts and enhance the organization’s major giving programs, targeting a $1.7M goal. You will cultivate and solicit donors, leveraging data and collaboration with Communications to grow donor pipelines.

You will recruit volunteers, maintain steady donor communication, and build the Circle of Hope brand through events, speaking engagements, and personal visits with supporters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Four years of fundraising, donor relations, event planning, or nonprofit development
• Four years executing fundraising events logistics and campaigns, including meeting or exceeding revenue goals
• Four years cultivating and managing donor relationships, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships
• Two years project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and initiatives simultaneously
• Proficient with office equipment and Microsoft Office suite; cybersecurity best practices awareness; ability to learn job-specific software

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute strategies to generate new gifts and enhance MIFA’s major giving program(s) to reach $1.7M goal
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors for major gifts (>= $1,000)
• Leverage technology and data to improve donor fundraising and pipeline development
• Collaborate with Development/Communications team to create marketing materials for major donors
• Recruit and manage individual giving fundraising volunteers
• Maintain effective communication with Development/Communications team for high performance
• Maintain community visibility through events and networking to strengthen the Circle of Hope brand
• Strengthen the Circle of Hope brand and engage major gift donors
• Steward major giving relationships through visits, calls, and correspondence
• Develop donor cultivation cycles and stewardship programs
• Develop relationships through personal visits and written correspondence
