Job summary

University System of New Hampshire is seeking an Associate Director of Development for Athletics to advance major gift fundraising and donor stewardship across UNH Athletics. You will manage a high-potential portfolio, conduct frequent visits, and craft proposals aligned with Athletics priorities.

Collaborating with senior leaders and the Development team, you will coordinate communications, events, and donor engagement to drive multi-year commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of fundraising experience or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively about fundraising; build rapport with diverse constituents.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a robust portfolio of major gift prospects in Athletics; conduct regular visits.
• Plan and execute major gift communications and cultivation activities.
• Coordinate with Athletics leadership and Development colleagues to meet fundraising goals.
• Travel locally, regionally, or nationally to engage prospects and donors.
• Use CRM and data to track activity and measure progress toward targets.
