Job summary

University of New Hampshire seeks an Associate Director of Development for Athletics to lead major gift fundraising and cultivate a portfolio of UNH Athletics supporters. The role collaborates with UNH Development, Athletics leadership, coaches, and volunteers to secure multi-year commitments and engage donors in strategic priorities.

The ADoD will travel regionally and nationally, manage donor portfolios, craft compelling proposals, and steward relationships to maximize philanthropy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of fundraising experience or related field experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a robust portfolio of major gift prospects within UNH Athletics and engage donors to increase support.
  • Travel across the state, region, and nationally to conduct up to 150 visits annually via video, phone, or in-person.
  • Craft funding proposals and solicit major gifts aligned with Athletics priorities.
  • Support campus campaigns and drive donor engagement through stewardship and communications.
  • Move prospects through the Development pipeline and coordinate with teams across UNH.
