Job summary

Kerry is seeking a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to improve workforce productivity by planning and coordinating labor, parts, and tools for maintenance activities. The role develops preventive and predictive programs, schedules work orders, and supports technicians while ensuring safety and efficiency across the plant.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, 3+ years in manufacturing, CMMS experience, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-high school vocational training is desired.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably as a planner and/or scheduler.
• CMMS experience required; technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming work notifications, plan work orders, and assign to technician resources.
• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly maintenance schedules using CMMS.
• Create detailed work orders including labor estimates, materials, tools, safety procedures, and permits.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production.
• Monitor and manage backlog of maintenance work orders.
• Ensure all required resources are available before scheduling work.
• Analyze and monitor time delays and determine schedule impact, make adjustments.
• Develop and maintain PM program; create/edit PM plans with condition data.
