Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Planner to develop, coordinate and optimize maintenance plans for equipment and facilities. You will schedule work orders, allocate resources, prioritize tasks, and work with operations and engineering to minimize downtime and support production goals.

Qualifications include CMMS proficiency, ability to read P&IDs, strong data analysis and scheduling skills. 2–4 years of planning experience and supervisory background are preferred; MS Project experience

• Ability to read P&IDs and OEM manuals.
• Data-driven planning and downtime reduction.
• Strong communication with maintenance, operations and management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Use scheduling software to develop and track maintenance and outage schedules.
• Coordinate and plan maintenance activities with operations and engineering to minimize downtime.
• Analyze maintenance history and equipment performance data to identify trends.
• Prepare and distribute work orders with necessary resources.
• Review drawings and OEM manuals to support work execution.
• Monitor completion of tasks and update CMMS records.
• Lead root cause analysis and reliability improvement efforts.
• Mentor and develop team members for performance improvement.
