Job summary

Qualifications

• 13+ years in related work with 8+ years direct experience in architecture leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or equivalent; Master’s/Doctorate may reduce years.
• Azure expertise required; multi-cloud (AWS/GCP) experience a plus; strong security focus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the enterprise technology architecture authority for M&A activities and define scalable integration strategies across acquisitions.
• Lead technical due diligence for M&A initiatives, assessing technology maturity, posture, cloud presence, risks and complexity.
• Define and execute M&A technology integration playbooks including landing zone alignment and security harmonization.
• Drive consistency across multi-business-unit architectures and influence enterprise-wide policy decisions.
• Provide thought leadership on technology and M&A integration; represent McKesson with vendors and partners.
• Govern enterprise technology solution patterns and reference architectures across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Shape architecture standards, security guardrails, and governance models; resolve design exceptions across units.
• Conduct technical assessments and optimization reviews for deployments.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cloud operations, and governance teams for seamless integration.
• Mentor senior architects and engineers, raising overall architecture maturity and enabling best practices.
