• Define and execute M&A technology integration playbooks including landing zone alignment and security harmonization.
• Drive consistency across multi-business-unit architectures and influence enterprise-wide policy decisions.
• Provide thought leadership on technology and M&A integration; represent McKesson with vendors and partners.
• Govern enterprise technology solution patterns and reference architectures across cloud and hybrid environments.

Job responsibilities

• Serve as the enterprisetechnologyarchitecture authority for merger, acquisition, and divestiture activities, defining scalable integration strategies across acquired entities.

• Lead technical due diligence for M&A initiatives, assessingtechnologymaturity, architecture posture,cloud presents,risks, and integration complexity.

• Define and execute M&Atechnologyintegration playbooks, including landing zone alignment, identity integration, security harmonization, andnetworkmodernization strategies.

• Drive consistency across multi-business-unit architectures, resolving complex cross-domain design challenges and influencing enterprise-wide policy decisions.

• Provide thought leadership ontechnology, M&A integration, and enterprise architecture trends; represent McKesson in strategic vendor and partner engagements.

• Define and govern enterprisetechnologysolution patterns and reference architecture acrosscloudand hybrid environments, ensuring consistency, reusability, and alignment with long-term platform and security strategy.

• Shape and evolve enterprisetechnologyarchitecture standards, security guardrails, and governance models; influence policy decisions and resolve complex design exceptions across business units.

• Conduct technical assessments and optimization reviews for existing and newtechnologydeployments.

• Work closely with enterprise architecture, cloud platform operations, and governance teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions intoeachorganization’stechnologyenvironment.

• Mentor senior architects and engineers, raise the overall architecture maturity of the organization, and lead enablement efforts that institutionalizetechnologybest practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or equivalent andtypically requires 13+ years,with 8+ years, of direct work-related experience. Less yearsrequired if has relevant Master’sor Doctorate qualifications

Critical Skills/Experience :

12+ years ofSolutionArchitecture and/or relevant industry experience.

• Expertise in Azure is required; experience with AWS or GCP is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.

Technical Expertise:

Strongexpertise in Microsoft Azure (required); multi-cloud experience (AWS, GCP, OCI) strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge ofload balance, DNS, firewall,networkingtechnologies, microservices architecture, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

• Strong architecture design and implementation experience withon-premand hybrid cloud environments

• Proven experience in designing and deploying secure, scalable, and resilient solutions in large-scale cloud environments that are heavily regulated.

• Solid understanding of enterprise security, compliance, and governance frameworks.

• Experience with migration projects and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.

• Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
