Job summary

BCG Attorney Search places a Senior Corporate M&A and Private Equity Associate in Fort Lauderdale, FL to lead sophisticated buyouts, acquisitions and investments for private equity sponsors, family offices and portfolio companies.

You will manage end-to-end transactions, supervise junior associates and paralegals, coordinate with tax, regulatory, IP and finance experts, handle high-stakes negotiations, draft principal transaction agreements, and oversee post-closing matters including price

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Florida Bar or willingness to become admitted promptly.
6-8+ years of corporate transactional experience with a focus on M&A.
Ability to independently manage all aspects of a transaction.
Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead M&A and private equity transactions from inception to closing.
Serve as primary contact for clients, advising on legal and strategic matters.
Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals.
Coordinate with specialists in tax, regulatory, IP, and finance.
Handle high-stakes negotiations and draft principal transaction agreements.
Manage post-closing matters, including purchase price adjustments and dispute resolution.
