• Experience leading multiple acquisitions and integration programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic assessment of markets, technologies, and acquisition opportunities aligned with Vertex growth objectives.
• Develop and maintain M&A pipeline, target prioritization frameworks, and investment theses.
• Partner with executive leadership to define inorganic growth strategy and capital deployment priorities.
• Lead acquisition sourcing and manage relationships with bankers, advisors, targets.
• Direct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment recommendations.
• Present opportunities, risks, and strategic rationale to executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
• Oversee due diligence strategy, governance, and workstreams.
• Serve as executive sponsor for priority transactions and strategic growth initiatives.
