Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Corporate Counsel for a full-time, on-site role in Palo Alto, CA, Washington D.C., Austin, TX, or New York, NY. The role focuses on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, and other strategic transactions, with responsibility for governance and subsidiary management.

You will partner with finance, tax, accounting, operations and engineering to counsel internal clients on complex legal issues and lead post-closing integration in a fast-paced, hands-on

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Corporate or M&A at a top-tier law firm or in-house
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex corporate transactions
• Experience advising mature private and public companies

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, partnerships and other strategic transactions from start to finish
• Coordinate with corporate development, finance and operations to ensure smooth deal processes
• Drive post-closing integration and develop playbooks for transactions
• Advise on corporate governance including subsidiary boards and consents
• Oversee maintenance of subsidiaries across US and international entities
• Provide counsel on general corporate matters
• Demonstrate willingness to roll up your sleeves and maintain a can-do attitude
