Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Corporate Counsel to lead mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments and other strategic transactions. You will support governance and subsidiary management while advising internal clients on complex legal issues.

This full-time, on-site position is based in one of several U.S. locations, including Palo Alto, CA, Washington, D.C., Austin, TX, or New York, NY. A hands-on, proactive approach and strong communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 6+ years in Corporate or M&A at a top-tier law firm.
• Admitted to the bar in at least one U.S. state.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, partnerships and other strategic transactions from start to finish.
• Collaborate with corporate development, finance and operations to ensure a smooth deal process.
• Drive post-closing integration and value capture.
• Build processes, templates and playbooks for corporate transactions.
• Advise on corporate governance, including subsidiary matters and consents.
• Oversee subsidiary maintenance across US and international entities.
• Provide counsel on general corporate matters.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and work in a fast-paced environment.
