Job summary

Mettler Toledo International, Inc. seeks a Corporate Development Manager based in the Columbus, OH area. This global role will lead and support expanding Corporate Development and M&A efforts with a focus on North America, collaborating with senior leadership.

You will liaise with partners and targets, drive deal execution through due diligence, modelling and negotiations, and guide integration planning, monitoring progress and applying AI where relevant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration, engineering, or natural sciences; MBA a plus.
• 4+ years leading acquisition projects with due diligence, modelling, valuations, and negotiations.
• Experience in corporate development, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
• Industrial company experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support corporate development activities related to market, company, and technology assessments to identify growth opportunities and to shape the corporate and M&A strategy in cooperation with senior leadership.
• Liaise with potential cooperation partners and acquisition targets to drive business expansion.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams through the M&A process including due diligence, financial modelling, valuations, approvals, negotiations, integration planning and monitoring.
• Monitor M&A market trends and best practices to continuously advance M&A practices and tools including AI.
