Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a senior corporate development professional to lead end-to-end M&A activity, including acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. The role partners with Strategy, Business Development, and Integration to drive strategic impact through rigorous financial analysis and deal execution.

The position emphasizes leadership in negotiations with sellers, coordination of diligences, and alignment with internal stakeholders to maximize long-term value for the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant work experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Corporate Development, or Transaction Advisory services.
• End-to-end M&A execution experience as demonstrated by deal volume.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills with excellent executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A transactions across all stages and act as quarterback for acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments, and joint ventures.
• Coordinate diligence, negotiate LOIs, and manage legal documentation to protect Johnson Controls' interests.
• Develop strategic lens and partner with Strategy and Business Development to assess target fit and synergies.
