Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. Milwaukee seeks a senior leader to drive global corporate development. You will quarterback acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments, and joint ventures, partnering with Strategy, Business Development, and Integration teams.

You will lead financial modelling, valuation, and deal execution while negotiating with sellers and coordinating diligence. A BS degree is required; MBA is preferred. Strong communication and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Corporate Development, or Transaction Advisory services.
• End-to-end M&A execution experience demonstrated by deal volume.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills with senior-level credibility.
• Track record of collaborating on all aspects of M&A deal execution and diligence.
• BS in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A transactions as quarterback across all stages.
• Drive initial business assessments and stress test underlying assumptions.
• Lead financial modelling (DCF, LBO, ROIC) for valuation and bidding.
• Create and present business overviews to C-Suite executives.
• Coordinate diligence with internal/external teams and legal counsel.
• Manage and coordinate deal execution and post-deal monitoring.
