Job Mobz, a private equity focused firm, is seeking a Corporate Development Associate in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will identify acquisition targets, manage a deal pipeline, and lead analyses, due diligence, and negotiations for SaaS/AI-focused opportunities.

You will build relationships with founders and executives, work closely with leadership, and drive post-acquisition value creation through integration efforts and strategic execution.

Qualifikationen

• 4–6 years of experience in investment banking (software/technology M&A strongly preferred) or corporate development at a fund/PE-backed company, or a senior BD role with direct M&A exposure.
• Must have experience with SaaS businesses, including recurring revenue models and SaaS metrics/valuation.
• Startup experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
• Strong knowledge of AI technologies and ability to leverage AI to optimize workflow.
• Experience with financial modeling, business valuation, due diligence, and transaction analysis.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
• Comfortable working directly with founders, executives, and senior leadership.
• Experience evaluating early-stage and growth-stage tech businesses.
• Familiarity with post-acquisition integration and value creation.

Aufgaben

• Identify and evaluate acquisition targets with focus on SaaS, AI, and emerging tech.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of acquisition opportunities through sourcing and market research.
• Lead financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring.
• Assess targets on financial performance, tech, product-market fit, and strategic alignment.
• Develop relationships with founders, investors, bankers, and stakeholders.
• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute M&A strategy.
• Lead negotiations and coordinate transaction processes from outreach to close.
• Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI and automation within portfolio companies.
• Collaborate with internal teams for post-acquisition integration and value creation.
• Monitor SaaS/AI market trends to identify opportunities.
