Job summary

Lumen's Corporate Development team leads acquisition, divestiture and strategic investments. The Senior Corporate Development Analyst supports transactions, conducts detailed financial modeling, and collaborates with product, strategy, technology and other leaders for inorganic growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, or other M&A roles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of the M&A process and financial modeling.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Telecom or technology exposure is a plus.
• Interest in new tech trends and proactive initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed financial modeling for M&A and investments, including valuation and synergy analysis.
• Collaborate across functions to build models and assess target fit.
• Summarize analyses for executive decision-makers.
• Assist in structuring and managing projects from ideation to close.
• Develop an understanding of industry, operations and strategic focus.
• Maintain a comps database and publish executive updates.
• Communicate clearly with teams and senior leadership.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
