Job summary

Lumen's Corporate Development team seeks a Senior Analyst to support merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions, collaborating with product, strategy, technology, and other leaders across the company. You will lead financial modeling, assess target fit, and help shape strategic investments.

Based in the Denver area, relocation or strong U.S.-based remote candidates are considered. This role offers broad exposure and opportunities for advancement as you drive inorganic growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Valuation Advisory, or other M&A-related roles.
• Excellent analytic, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Critical thinker with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of the M&A process and financial modeling experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience in telecom or technology preferred.
• Interest in developing technology trends and driving team initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed financial modeling for M&A and investment opportunities, including valuation, scenario modeling, synergy assessment, and impact analysis.
• Synthesize information from cross-functional groups to develop financial models and assess target fit and attractiveness.
• Summarize financial modeling and analysis to aid decision makers.
• Assist in structuring and managing projects from ideation through completion, including due diligence and data room coordination.
• Develop understanding of Lumen's industry, operations, and strategic focus for research and analysis of opportunities and competitors.
• Maintain a comps database, track trends, and publish executive-ready updates.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and senior leadership.
• Maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment under tight time constraints.
