Job summary

Acadia Insurance, a regional property casualty insurer and part of W.R. Berkley Corporation, seeks a Loss Control Consultant to survey hazards, develop client service plans, and deliver loss control guidance across accounts.

You will assess risks, support implementation of safety programs, and educate clients while traveling to sites as needed. The role requires 5–7 years of loss control experience, a related Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and relationship-building skills to help

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in loss control, risk control, safety management, or related field.
• Experience with multi-line commercial insurance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of property, casualty, and workers’ compensation exposures and controls.

Responsibilities

• Conducts surveys and evaluates hazards for all lines of coverage.
• Develops client service plans based on needs analysis and assists with solution implementation.
• Serves existing accounts per mutually agreed plans and participates in client education.
• Mentors others and shares expertise within the team.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Travel to client sites as needed and provide on-site inspections.
