Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain great working relationships with transportation vendors and customers.
• Maintain outbound transportation schedules and communicate with vendors daily to meet customer expectations.
• Track deliveries to ensure product arrives as planned.
• Process freight invoices and resolve discrepancies; provide leadership in distribution safety.
• Filing claims with carriers for lost or damaged shipments; limited travel may be required.
