• Book shipments with carriers and schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Interact professionally with carrier sales representatives and freight customers.
• Assist with cargo claims and updating customer information.
• Assist with invoice discrepancies and research quote history.
• Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine cost-effective transportation.
• Create policies and procedures to govern logistic activities.
• Negotiate transportation rates or services with carriers.
• Develop and update work instructions and standard operating procedures.
