Job summary

Actalent in Ladson, SC seeks a Logistics Production Specialist to optimize production flow and coordinate logistics across the factory floor. The role supports schedules, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives on-site.

You will monitor schedules, manage vehicle blocking/release, and work with production, logistics and quality teams to minimize disruptions while driving efficiency and data accuracy. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related operational environment.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing operations with an emphasis on project management and process planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and optimize production and logistics flow throughout the factory.
• Manage vehicle blocking and release processes based on operational inputs and production requirements.
• Support failure analysis activities, identify root causes, and implement containment actions and corrective measures.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams to minimize disruptions and maintain operational efficiency.
• Monitor production systems and schedules to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
• Support process improvement and project planning initiatives within the logistics and manufacturing environment.
• Maintain accurate operational data and reporting to support management decision-making.
