Job summary

USGI in Tampa, FL seeks a J4 Logistics Planner Analyst to support SOF and CENTCOM, advising on equipment readiness and theater logistics. You will analyze maintenance, budgeting, and asset status to guide leadership decisions and ensure mission readiness.

The role requires 5+ years of strategic planning experience, JPME II or equivalent, and hands-on use of GCSS-A, Palantir, Power BI, DRRS-S, and related systems. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in one of these disciplines; handles analytics
• Joint Professional Military Education Level II or service equivalent
• At least 5 years strategic and operational planning/analysis
• At least 3 years' experience in CENTCOM AOR; MISO; MILDEC; CWMD; ORSA; CYBER; AT/FP; SNA; Special Programs
• Equivalent combinations of at least 10 years of SOF operational experience and education

Responsibilities

• Advise MRD, J4 leadership, and command on service common equipment
• Study SOCCENT missions and adjust support concepts as needed
• Execute programs impacting theater logistics, maintenance, and supply
• Coordinate funding with resource management personnel
• Track assets with GCSS-A, SSAVIE, Palantir, Power BI, STORES, and DRRS-S
• Prepare readiness briefs and information papers
• May travel CONUS/OCONUS as required
• Maintain knowledge of DoDAACs and LOA to support SOCCENT units

MA/MS in one of: Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis
