Job summary

RMGS, Inc. is seeking a J4 Special Ops Forces (SOF) Logistics Planner – Senior to serve as a senior logistics lead planner at MacDill AFB, Florida.

The role supports Operational Planning Teams and coordinates with multiple commands and partners to align end states and enable mission success. The position requires advanced military education, TS/SCI clearance, and at least five years of strategic planning experience across CENTCOM AOR and related capabilities.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in one of: Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis
• Joint Professional Military Education Level II or Service Equivalent; Advanced Military Education Levels (e.g. SAMS, JAWS; Service War Colleges)
• At least 5 years strategic and operational planning and analysis
• At least 3 years’ experience in CENTCOM AOR; MISO; MILDEC; CWMD; ORSA; CYBER; AT/FP; SNA; Special Programs; Interagency Experience
• Equivalent combinations of at least 10 years of SOF operational experience and education
• Must possess an Active TS/SCI

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior logistics lead planner and subject matter expert
• Assist Operational Planning Teams to organize, focus and synchronize enterprise partners and enablers to meet defined organizational end states
• Facilitate and support the Strategic Planning Process using Systemic Operational Design and MDMP to conduct environment analysis and end states development
• Review and analyze operational war plans, orders, and SOPs
• Develop and present General Officer/Flag Officer level briefing products and presentations
• Coordinate with Combatant Commands, TSOCs, USG partners, and other agencies to develop briefing products and support materials
• Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes related to foreign threats
• Determine procedures for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems
• Report changes, trends, and implications regarding evolving systems and instrumentation
• Coordinate to develop a comprehensive Concept of Logistics Support with staff and forward units
• Provide staff coordination to achieve programmatic end-state and logistics sustainment using KM and LOGCOP
• Maintain required training and security clearances
• Prepare briefs and information papers using MS Office tools
• Maintain an electronic contact repository for mission continuity
• May travel CONUS/OCONUS as required and stay current with training
• Maintain Readiness data in DRRS-S
