Jack Archer is seeking a Logistics Manager for Openstore in Kansas City, MO to lead transportation and logistics efforts, optimize freight costs, and ensure on-time deliveries across all channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with carriers and vendors to support new product launches and promotions.

The role demands strategic thinking, contract negotiation experience, and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Operations focusing on Transportation & Logistics.
• Experience negotiating freight contracts across multiple carriers.
• Freight pricing experience and cost optimization.
• Building and maintaining vendor/partner relationships.
• Experience with diverse customer bases including end-customers and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of freight across all channels for Jack Archer.
• Collaborate with Product team to optimize cost and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Negotiate freight contracts and rates with carriers and providers.
• Identify and implement new vendors and systems to streamline movement.
• Provide in-transit reporting and analyze freight costs for savings.
• Monitor and enforce carrier performance and accountability.
• Coordinate inventory movement from suppliers to end points cost-effectively.
• Report transportation costs to leadership and assist in budgeting.
• Review invoices for accuracy and perform audits.
• Independently lead initiatives impacting bottom line and support retail/wholesale efforts.
