Job summary

Pero Family Farms is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Delray Beach, FL. The role supports the VP of Transportation & Logistics by booking loads, coordinating inbound materials and outbound finished goods, and ensuring efficient distribution and customer service.

Responsibilities include load optimization, carrier performance management, and cross-department collaboration to maintain competitive delivery and cost control. 2-5 years of related experience preferred; onsite, full-time position.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience or equivalent education, experience, and training.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of DOT, state and federal transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize sales activities to meet company goals.
• Coordinate loads and manage daily logistics to ensure cost efficiency.
• Build and manage a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Address customer concerns and implement solutions.
• Process carrier claims and related documentation.
• Enter orders and track routes and paperwork.
• Ensure carrier performance meets service and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with regional centers to coordinate transfers.
• Interface with sales, production, and quality control to maintain service advantage.
• Focus on reducing transportation costs while meeting delivery targets.
