Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in compliance and/or safety certification training.
• Knowledge of all DOT state, and federal requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to learn and understand transportation software systems and technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage personnel.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of Spanish language is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain budgetary guidelines for Shipping Department and warehouse personnel.
• Lead regular meetings with departments to evaluate performance and needs.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound orders with Commodity Management and Client Services.
• Schedule and train personnel involved in daily inbound/outbound movements.
• Oversee load planning, fulfillment rates, inventory, and receiving.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and aligned with Food Safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with Quality Control and Food Safety to ensure compliance.
• Cross-train personnel and supervise forklift operators and dock workers.
• Prepare and verify BOLs, receiving tickets, and driver check-in/out records.
• Communicate inventory details and allocation in RIMS and with other systems.
