Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide business and logistics analysis to support SECREP management, supply-chain performance improvement, policy development, and executive decision-making.

You will analyze SECREP processes, develop courses of action, support maintenance and sourcing, prepare briefings, and contribute to policy changes while maintaining SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or qualifying combination of post-high-school education and training.
• Three to five years of experience in military wholesale and retail reparable or consumable logistics.
• Three to five years of experience managing ground-equipment secondary items.
• Three to five years of experience in metrics management, SECREP sourcing, source-of-repair processes, or SECREP wholesale pricing.
• One to two years of performance-management framework experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
• This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SECREP business processes, logistics data, inventory performance, sourcing requirements, and wholesale and retail supply-chain activities.
• Develop courses of action and recommendations that improve supply-chain effectiveness, efficiency, and readiness.
• Support maintenance, sourcing, inventory, and financial analysis used in Government decision-making.
• Develop responses to internal and external data calls.
• Prepare briefings, reports, summaries, and other communications supporting SECREP program improvement.
• Support recommendations for Marine Corps logistics policy, procedures, and process changes.
• Assist with performance metrics, trend analysis, and assessments of logistics products and services.
