Job summary

Pero Family Farms seeks a Logistics Account Manager in Delray Beach, FL. This role supports PTC Logistics by booking loads, managing orders, and ensuring efficient distribution of inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods.

You will work with regional centers and sales teams to optimize customer service and cost efficiency. The position is full-time, onsite, with a Thursday–Monday schedule requiring some in-office presence and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage personnel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and understand transportation software systems and technologies.
• Knowledge of DOT, state, and federal requirements, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and planning processes to achieve company goals.
• Form and time loads to meet profitability metrics for each customer.
• Create and manage an individual portfolio of customer accounts.
• Address concerns and implement solutions for customers.
• Execute carrier claims and follow through any issues.
• Data entry including order creation, mileage tracking, and paperwork organization.
• Ensure carriers meet performance requirements including service and compliance.
• Collaborate with Regional Distribution Centers' leadership to coordinate transfers.
• Interface with sales, production, and quality control to maintain customer service advantage.
• Focus on optimizing distribution and transportation costs.
