Job summary

Pero Family Farms, a leader in integrated farming and logistics, seeks a Logistics Account Manager in Delray Beach, FL. The role focuses on booking loads, optimizing distribution, and delivering exceptional customer service across regional centers.

You will collaborate with operations, sales, and quality teams to ensure cost-effective, timely deliveries. The position requires 2–5 years of experience in logistics, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of transportation software and DOT

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
• Knowledge of DOT, state, and federal requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage personnel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and understand transportation software systems and technologies.
• Participate in workshops and educational programs to maintain knowledge on all industry regulations and rules.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and planning processes to achieve company goals.
• Form and time loads to achieve profitability for each customer.
• Create and manage a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Address concerns and implement solutions for established and prospective customers.
• Execute carrier claims and address related concerns.
• Data entry including order creation, mileage, and paperwork organization.
• Ensure carriers meet performance requirements (customer service, quality, compliance).
• Collaborate with Regional Distribution Centers’ General Managers on transfers.
• Coordinate with sales, production, and quality to maintain a competitive customer service.
• Focus on optimization of distribution and transportation costs.
