Job summary

Just Right Reader, based in NYC, seeks a Partnerships Director to lead engagements with school and district leaders, driving education partnerships and program adoption across the five boroughs. The role blends literacy expertise with regional outreach and revenue growth.

You will travel within the five boroughs, develop relationships, and position Just Right Reader as the preferred solution for literacy initiatives in schools and districts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as instructional coach or school/district administrator.
• Strong foundational literacy and science of reading knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Comfort with storytelling, strategy, and data-driven decisions.
• Energized by sales targets and quota attainment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from initial conversation to signed agreement.
• Build trusted relationships with NYC schools and district leaders.
• Generate new opportunities and develop a robust pipeline.
• Understand local literacy priorities, funding sources, and district goals.
• Represent Just Right Reader at regional events and meetings with decision-makers.
• Collaborate with internal teams for smooth handoffs and long-term implementations.
• Meet or exceed sales goals for district growth and product adoption.
