Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a lighting manufacturer’s rep agency quotations role.
• Proven ability to manage large project quotations and smaller quote requests.
• Extensive knowledge of lighting products and their applications.
• Experience with project buyout negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead quotation efforts for large and complex projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, and reps.
• Interpret specifications to ensure product compliance and cost accuracy.
• Oversee preparation and delivery of project quotations on time.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager and Sales to develop bid strategies.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales Support and Project Managers for handoffs.
• Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and sales teams to win bids.
• Review pricing for profitability and market competitiveness.
• Monitor daily workflow and provide coaching to the quotation team.
• Track metrics such as quote win rate, turnaround time, and margin analysis.
