Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Licensing & Registration Specialist II to support regulatory licensing, registration, and appointment activities for producers and firm entities.

Initially focused on insurance licensing, this role offers opportunities to expand into securities registration and compliance support. The successful candidate will work independently, manage end-to-end processes, monitor regulatory updates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and maintain audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than three years of applicable experience in insurance, licensing & registration, compliance, financial services, banking, or a related regulatory environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance licensing processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assume end-to-end ownership of licensing, registration, and appointment processes.
• Independently identify process gaps, risks, bottlenecks, and compliance concerns.
• Monitor downstream impacts of regulatory and operational activities.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned processes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, controls, and enhancements.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive resolution of complex issues.
