Job summary

Edward Jones in the United States seeks a Registration/Licensing Specialist to support the firm’s insurance licensing program. You will serve as a subject matter expert on licensing requirements, processes, and systems.

The role focuses on maintaining licenses, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and service to branch teams and business partners; collaboration across teams and system enhancements are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of insurance licensing, compliance or related experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues.
• Strong process management and organizational skills under deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration across departments and regulators.
• Ability to leverage data and stakeholder input for decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance licensing processes for associates.
• Serve as SME on licensing requirements, processes and systems.
• Ensure licensing data accuracy and integrity in firm systems.
• Research and apply state regulations to licensing matters.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate business needs and licensing decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Support system enhancements and testing related to licensing operations.
• Participate in special projects advancing strategic goals.
