The successful candidate will manage staff, develop collections, and work with municipal leaders to align initiatives with long-term goals and community growth.

Qualifications

• Master of Library Science degree or equivalent management experience in a library
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years administrative/management experience in a library
• Experience interacting with the public and engaging with community members
• Experience advancing libraries as community hubs and learning centers

Responsibilities

• Providing quality patron services.
• Developing and managing print, digital, and non-traditional collections.
• Overseeing staff and supporting professional development.
• Collaborating with Commissioners and Town Manager on budget development and management.
• Coordinating community outreach efforts.
• Planning and implementing library policies with the Commissioners.
